Tennis
The Pearl Cottage offers easy access to three tennis courts within a 10-minute walk (summer) or by car. Regardless of court, you book your time and pay for the tennis on the webpage or app Matchi. You don't have tennis rackets with you, you can borrow them and balls from us.
On our plot there is also a ping pong table for outdoor use that can be fun to challenge each other on. You can borrow rackets and balls from us for this as well.
Resarö Outdoor
The Resarö Tennis has two tennis courts located right by the Pavilion, 10 min from the Pearl Cottage by foot, and 100 meters from the water. One course is a gravel court, and the other course is a hard court. When you book, select the hard-court alternative (if its available). After the tennis you can go down swimming on one of the beaches nearby.
Vaxholm Outdoor
Vaxholm's outdoor tennis court is located in central Vaxholm and it's been here since 1936. The initiator was the restaurateur at Vaxholm’s Hotel, Bertil Maurin. The court became the gathering place for the tennis club that started the same year. In the winter they played at the Vaxholm Citadel, but in mid-1960s they got an outdoor tent. In 1991, the club got an indoor court.
It takes 10 min to come here by car and 25 min by bicycle.
Vaxholm Indoor
The indoor court for the Vaxholm’s Tennis Club is situated slightly closer to the Pearl Cottage: 8 min by car and 20 min by bicycle.
