Day 1 on Resarö
The first day you go spend island Resarö where we highligt the to do a walk and visit the Ytterby gruva (mine) as well as pass by the Pavillion. We hope you'll relax by the charming and friendly atmosphere on the island (people do say "Hello" when you pass by them).
Day 1 in Vaxholm
On your first day in Vaxholm we recommend you to walk around in the town's center. During spring to autumn, Hembygdsgården (the Homestead Farm) has a cake-table that you'll dream about. Of course, they have nice lunches as well. The Battery Park open the door for you to the important military history in the town that we left until tomorrow. And in the middle of all is the Waxholm Hotel with its astonishing view during a meal.
Day 2 in Vaxholm
On your second day in Vaxholm, you explore the military history on the little island with Vaxholms kastell (the Vaxholm's Citadel) and on the island Rindö with its fortifications. They were the lock to not letting enemies into Stockholm. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the beautiful nature reserve Bogesund.
